Lots of space themed activities taking place in the classrooms to celebrate Space Week!
The middle room had lots of fun being ‘planets’ and arranging themselves in the correct order from the sun. 19 seconds was our record 👏🏻👏🏻. They also learned about the major events of the Space Race and then watched live on NASA TV as astronauts prepared for the launch of SpaceX Crew 5’s mission from Kennedy Space Centre Florida.
They tied the theme into their art and drama lessons for the week too creating space rockets and aliens and ‘interviewing’ some visitors from other planets 👽🛸🪐
