The children in the senior room have been busy creating Lockdown poems. The lockdown has had a different effect on different people. So these poems are about what the lockdown means to them.
They have also been busy with their persuasive writing. They created a travel brochure to their chosen country using persuasive writing. Very convincing, I may even be enticed to visit a few countries when it is safe to do so.
We have been studying about The Aztecs in the senior room. The children loved learning about their way of life and they created some fantastic Sun sStone art pieces. Well done everyone.

5th& 6th class attended a reteat on Feb 6th, in Ballintubber Abbey. They had a great day and learned lots of things about the Holy Spirit and God that will prepare them for Confirmation on March 3rd.
